Whoami & Whatisthis
Hey, Frankly here. Let me tell you whoami and what to expect from this journal.
I'm a tech guy from Georgia. I have a wife and two kids. I started out with interest in Cyber Security, but at the time, in our country, jobs in this field were virtually non-existent. I ended up working in a company, where we built intranets, extranets, e-commerce solutions, ERP systems and so on. After that, I went on a decade long journey in the gambling industry. What I'm working on now is a bit longer story. Some of it will be covered below and you'll learn more, if you follow the journal.
You’re not gonna see lots of code snippets here, if any. This journal is going to be like a public diary, mixed with deep dives into random subjects and a lot of hot takes. In the last couple of years, I completely lost drive and motivation. Being in a comfort zone, followed by some disappointments and procrastination, mixed with very unfortunate events in my life and a grown anxiety took the best of me. I really did let myself go. So, this journal is going to be about getting my shit together and navigating through the challenges I did and didn’t sign up for. It’s gonna be fun, mostly, I promise. Let me tell you a bit about where we are starting.
I have a full time job at a startup. Time to time, I do consulting job for former employers and clients. I’m doing a side project, which is an e-commerce solution. This is a businessy business I’m trying to build and we already have our first costumer. Last but not least, I want to build a mobile game, which I already started working on.
If you are interested in how things will turn out, you are welcome. I really don’t think it was a curiosity who killed the cat.
